About

Two Little Birds was founded by event planner and wedding expert Jaclyn Fisher. After planning her own wedding in 2008, Jaclyn saw the need for a more personalized, hands-on approach to wedding planning, and Two Little Birds was born. With over 15 years experience planning events, Jaclyn’s creativity is only matched by her professionalism, organization, and constant attention to detail.

She attended Rutgers University New Brunswick, where a marketing internship with the NHL’s New Jersey Devils opened her eyes to the world of public relations and special events. She also spent a semester abroad in Australia studying international and cultural relations at the University of Melbourne.

At the boutique public relations and special events firm Cashman & Associates, Jaclyn worked with a diverse group of clients in the health & fitness, wedding, fashion, beauty, dining, hospitality, and publishing fields. Being surrounded by creativity in her next position with top marketing and advertising agency, The Star Group, Jaclyn strengthened her eye for design, while broadening her experience in event coordination. At the upscale fashion brand Hugo Boss, Jaclyn assisted in the seasonal buying and spent time managing marketing for five locations. In this position, she furthered her skills for designing unique and highly successful events and marketing campaigns. Jaclyn’s ongoing work as a freelance editorial stylist keeps her immersed in the world of fashion and knowledgable on the latest trends.

Jaclyn lives in Mullica Hill with her husband Dan, their two daughters Olive and Ruby, and their Australian Bernedoodle Penny. When she isn’t planning weddings, she enjoys spending time with her family (proud soccer mom and Clemson wife), being active (especially running and anything Peloton), and trying new things (would throw axes again, parasailing not so much).

Associate Wedding Planner Amanda Paola joined Two Little Birds in January 2015, however, she first met Jaclyn when she was interning at The Star Group in 2011. Amanda’s strong attention to detail, ability to remain calm under pressure, and knack for thinking outside the box stood out to Jaclyn from the start.

While attending Saint Joseph’s University, Amanda’s passion for special events grew, as did her experience in the industry. At Susan G. Komen for the Cure, she assisted with the Pink Tie Ball, and at B101 FM Radio, Amanda was part of the promotions team. Always a team player, Amanda would even occasionally play the role of BuzzBee the station mascot.

After graduation, Amanda worked at a non-profit where she planned all aspects of the Gary Papa Run, the organization’s largest and signature event. She brainstormed and implemented campaigns to increase participation, upgraded sponsorship opportunities, and coordinated the race logistics. Most recently, Amanda has been working at a national law firm planning successful events all over the country. Over the years, Amanda has had the opportunity to orchestrate various types of events including intimate cocktail receptions, large scale fundraising galas, educational seminars, charity runs, multi-day conferences, and of course weddings.

Amanda leads an active life (she loves yoga sculpt, kickboxing, RippedPHL, and hiking), and she enjoys spending time in Philadelphia checking out the newest bars and restaurants (1 Tippling Place, Martha, Townsend, and Good King Tavern are among her favorites). She is also huge Philly sports fan (loves all Philly teams, but the Eagles are her number one) and an avid fantasy football participant (she’s in multiple leagues).
